TCS Announces New Syracuse Sales Representative

TCS Adds RateLinx™ to Enhance Consolidation Service
TCS is pleased to announce the implementation of RateLinx™ parcel and LTL shipping software. It is a carrier-certified logistics product licensed by LRM Technologies that provides a global, multi-carrier shipping solution.
"Our strategic plan is focused on enhancing customer service, and our analysis indicated that implementing RateLinx would provide significant added value to our clients," states David Harper, Vice President of TCS. "The software is completely scalable from a single location to a global enterprise solution. It provides reporting capabilities for our customers, and they can access it online to trace and confirm delivery. Daily shipping information can also be sent to the customer via email. And on the parcel shipping side, it provides great flexibility because it handles all of the shippers — UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and Purolator."
RateLinx software includes an "anywhere to anywhere" rating engine that generates results by rate and transit time - whether you ship from multiple facilities, inbound shipments, or 3rd party/drop ships.
RateLinx automatically maintains and updates fuel surcharges, rate changes, and transit information via automated methodology, as well as incorporating this information as a part of its rating algorithm. It connects directly to Parcel and LTL carrier servers through secured and approved gateways – to return the exact tracking information available on their web sites.
